Privacy Policy

The short version

We do not require an account, we do not ask for social media credentials, and we do not keep copies of the media you download. The only data we deliberately collect is anonymous usage analytics.

What we do not collect

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number or any social media login. There is no account system, so there is nothing to sign up for.

We do not store a history of the links you paste. A link is resolved when you press the download button, the resulting file is streamed to your browser, and the request is not attached to any profile of you.

We do not sell data to third parties, because we do not hold the kind of data that would be worth selling.

What is processed while you use the site

When you submit a link, our edge service sends a request to the relevant platform to read the public post metadata. That request contains the post link and nothing about you. The media file is then streamed through our edge to your browser so it saves with a proper filename.

Our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs, including IP addresses and requested URLs, for security and abuse prevention. These logs are retained for a limited period and are not used for advertising.

Audio conversion

Converting a video to MP3 happens entirely inside your browser using WebAssembly. The video file is not uploaded to us for processing. Only the initial metadata lookup and the video download touch our edge.

Analytics

If analytics are enabled on this site, we use an aggregated page-view measurement that tells us which tools are used and from which countries, without building individual user profiles. Browser-level opt-out tools and standard tracking-protection settings are respected.

Local storage

We store your language preference in your browser’s local storage so the interface stays in the language you picked. That value never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time from your browser settings.

Children

This service is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly process their data.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct or erase personal data held about you. Because we do not maintain user accounts or media histories, in practice there is usually nothing to erase beyond server logs, which expire on their own schedule.

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect, we will update this page and change the date below.
